SC's Best Batter Announced

Carl Granitehammer has made a definite impact on the baseball world by snatching Shire Conference Batter of the Month honors for July.

In 25 games the Minas Tirith batter hit .337 with 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 23 runs scored.

This year Granitehammer has socked 119 hits in 416 at-bats for a .286 average with 16 home runs. He is getting on base at a .378 pace and his totals also include 53 RBIs and 64 runs scored.
