Smoothflower Remains with Minas Morgul

MINAS MORGUL - At a midafternoon press conference, Minas Morgul Slayers officials flanked Niara Smoothflower and announced they had reached an extension with the 31-year-old closer.

Terms include a $42,000,000 salary distributed over 3 years.

In 2016 Smoothflower has recorded a 5-3 won-lost mark, pitched in 49 relief appearances and rung up 24 saves. She has a 2.32 ERA and has allowed 41 hits over her 54.1 innings of work, struck out 50 batters and walked 7.
