Samwise Peatfingers went on a week-long tirade against the Shire Conference pitchers and was acclaimed the Player of the Week.

The Rivendell left fielder was hot as a firecracker, exploding with a .524 average, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. For the week Peatfingers bashed out 11 hits in 21 at-bats and scored 7 runs.

In the current season, Peatfingers has put up a .278 batting average with 128 hits, 33 home runs, 101 RBIs and scored 74 times.
