Gandalf Pitcher Award Winner Announced

When Sjors Cheeseslicer takes the hill, there's a good chance for a Old Forest victory. At least that's the way it was this past season.

He excelled with a 22-7 mark and 2.03 ERA in 34 starts, tossed 265.2 innings, fanned 277 and held the opposition to a .222 average. That's why today he was selected the Shire Conference Gandalf Pitcher Award winner for 2016.

The MEBWA will honor all of the award winners this weekend at its annual meeting.
