Top SC Rookie Trophy Taken by *Hubbard

The Shire Conference Frodo Rookie Award honoree has been picked for 2016 and the winner was Old Forest designated hitter El-Rond *Hubbard.

The talented Merry Fellows designated hitter took the trophy by hitting .310 in 156 games this season and finishing up with 197 hits, 39 home runs, 139 RBIs and 97 runs scored.

This weekend *Hubbard will be honored by the Middle Earth Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner.
