Fyrith Named Shire MVP

When Bree's Gollilmer Fyrith stepped up to the plate this year, opposing pitchers trembled. Fyrith dominated the skies above league ballparks with towering shots. In the end, he racked up 55 HR and 157 RBI, finishing just 2 shy of the League record of 159 set by Hall of Famer, Isilborn Imrilron, in 2004.

Today Fyrith was honored by the league as the 2016 Aragorn MVP for the Shire Conference.

In voting, he was named 1st on just one ballot--compared to runner-up, Orgulas Black, who was the top choice of 3 voters--but he finished with more points than the Sam Gamgee winning Black by consistently appearing in the top 2 or 3 of every ballot. Sjors Cheeseslicer of Old Forest came in third.
