Witch Kings Gäldor Decides to Retire

WEATHERTOP - Pimth Gäldor of the Witch Kings is hanging it up. The veteran right fielder reportedly told team officials yesterday that he would not return for another season.

"The time has come for me to give up a game I love dearly, but the time is right. Baseball has been good for me and I hope I have been good for baseball."

"While we are disappointed Pimth will not be playing for us next year, I have a tremendous amount of respect for him and the way he went about this decision," said the Weathertop general manager.

In 2016 career games Gäldor is hitting at a .258 pace with 1751 hits with 280 doubles, 52 triples, and 370 homers while scoring 1231 runs and racking up 1124 RBIs. He logged 1287 walks and owns a .379 on-base percentage.
