300 Homers for Gwildur

Lake Town Archers slugging first baseman Imredoc Gwildur swatted his way to the 300 home run mark today as the Archers fell to the Bywater 3-2.

For his part, Gwildur chipped in 1 RBI, scored 1 run and collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats, but it was not enough to turn the tide.

"It was a special day for Imredoc," the team publicist said afterward, "He was disappointed at the result, but everyone was all smiles as he crossed home plate. We're proud of him."

In 1406 career games Gwildur is hitting at a .279 pace with 1452 hits with 166 doubles, 10 triples, and 300 homers while scoring 776 runs and racking up 858 RBIs. He logged 511 walks and owns a .346 on-base percentage.
