SC Awards Player of the Week Trophy

Carl Granitehammer demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Shire Conference Player of the Week Award.

The Minas Tirith second baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .353 average (6-17) with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.

In 85 games this year Granitehammer has posted a .282 average and put up these numbers: 11 home runs, 45 RBIs and 55 runs scored.
