*Véneanár Brings Home SC Batter of Month Honor

Mirkwood's Mablung *Véneanár wowed sportswriters in July with an award-winning performance. For his standout play he was voted the Shire Conference Batter of the Month.

He rang up a .394 batting average with 13 home runs, 29 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He also had 9 walks and a .440 on-base percentage.

To date *Véneanár has chalked up a .326 average with 31 home runs, driven in 78 runs and scored 69 times.
