Ala'Niel Fashions Shutout Against Weathertop

OLD FOREST - The Weathertop Witch Kings struggled at the plate on August 12 against Merry Fellows hurler Yvestil Ala'Niel, who shackled them on 1 hit while hurling a complete game 17-0 shutout.

"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said the Witch Kings skipper in his postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."

Ala'Niel finished the game with 16 strikeouts and 1 walk in an excellent mound performance.

"She pitched real well," his manager said. "Yvestil made pitches when she had to. She hit her spots and did a great job of mixing in her changeup and using her fastball effectively."

This year Ala'Niel has compiled a 15-5 mark with a 2.14 ERA.
