Old Forest Starter Named SC's #1 Pitcher

This month the Shire Conference spotlight fell on pitcher Sjors Cheeseslicer of the Old Forest Merry Fellows.

What a August he had!

A fine 4-0 won-lost record, 0.61 ERA, 6 starts, 44.1 innings pitched and 41 strikeouts -- good enough to get him the SC Pitcher of the Month.

Cheeseslicer has made 30 starts, tossed 216.2 innings, struck out 192 batters and walked 40. His record is 14-7 with a 2.58 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .235 batting average.
