Slayers intend to go all out next year

MINAS MORGUL - Appearantly, K.L. isn't ready to rebuild yet.

The Slayers picked up two potent hitters in a deal with Minas Tirith tonight. One is CF Gandir, just recently extended for eleventy billion gold pieces and C Clubwalker who was already making a horde of gold.

Money aside, this, combined with Marblerage, looks to shape up the Slayer offense into one that should be feared once again.

"This should get our hitters going again. Firbal and Ruano have some help now and Silkpetal has more people to set the example for her." K.L. spoke.

The team now has power throughout the lineup again. The projected lineup could be as follows:

3B Foxburr
1B Firbal
C Clubwalker
RF Ruano
CF Gandir
2B Marblerage
LF Silkpetal
SS Grudgesmelter

That should be a very strong lineup. Phenom Silkpetal would drop all the way to the 7th spot and even the 8th spot should be solid in Grudgesmelter. This could free up Stoneteeth to be traded for a starting pitcher as well with the outfield taken care of, although he's great depth. He could also be DH in interleague play.

"Needless to say, we're still in the market for talent, though it's mostly starting pitching we need." K.L. said.
