It's Official: RF Elfprodder Signs with Royals
The Royals pulled out all the stops today to announce the signing of right fielder Hudash Elfprodder. The 33-year-old is one of the game's preeminent playmakers, and has definitely proven why he was such an attractive signing.
The contract is a 4-year deal worth $53,760,000.
Elfprodder is batting .257 with 1728 career base hits, including 310 doubles, 45 triples and 359 home runs with 1172 RBIs and 929 runs scored. He has played in 1786 games, stolen 28 bases and compiled a .311 OBP.
