Geomli Big Deal in Old Forest: Hits for Cycle

Monday, April 19th, 2027
The big buzz in the baseball world is about Dagan Geomli's performance today at Shire Greens Stadium against Moria. Geomli had 4 hits en route to hitting for the cycle, leading the charge for the Old Forest 6-5 triumph over the Miners. A cycle requires each of the four types of hits possible -- single, double, triple and home run. A batter has to have power, speed, and a little luck to do it.

"It was one of those games you dream about," Geomli told the press. "I never expected to do something like this when I showed up at the park today. All you really want to do is hit it hard and put it into play. The hits will come." And the hits did come today. The 25-year-old first baseman rounded out his superb batting display with 4 hits in 4 at-bats, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored.

Dagan Geomli doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Tanta Buckland in the 9th.

Geomli is hitting .317 this year with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .339, 2 walks and scored 13 times.
