Red-Hot Hornblower Scorches Stars

History in the making. That's what the fans at Amon Sul Stadium got to see today, when Weathertop outplayed the Stars 12-5. Daisy Hornblower of the Witch Kings came to the plate 6 times and came away with a dynamite day as she exploded for 6 hits against Grey Havens.

In the postgame press conference the Grey Havens skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get her out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against her and she hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink."

Daisy Hornblower hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.

This year Hornblower has socked 27 hits in 68 at-bats for a .397 average with 6 home runs. She is getting on base at a .440 pace and her totals also include 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
