Fairies Whitewashed by Orebearer

Nesil Orebearer of Minas Morgul easily handled the Bucklebury Fairies, stopping them on 1 hit and chucking a complete-game 5-0 shutout.

"He really did a job on us," said the Bucklebury manager. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and pretty much confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us."

Orebearer said, "Everything was working for me. Throwing my breaking stuff over the plate was big."

He finished the game with 18 strikeouts and no walks in a solid outing.

Orebearer has posted a 4-2 record for the year with a 1.33 ERA. Teams are hitting .138 against him and he has rung up 75 strikeouts in 54 innings.
