Roper on a Tear, Hits for Cycle

In Dagorlad's 12-9 win today at Dagorlad Memorial Stadium, Christine Roper roughed up Isengard pitching in a big way. The 25-year-old right fielder hit for the cycle, rapping out a single, double, triple and home run.
"What a good day! And my parents and family were here to see it, too," a beaming Roper said after the game. "I really got some good looks today and delivered. Sometimes you're just locked in."
She finished her historic day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Christine Roper hit a solo-shot off Sarkla Eowarang in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th and tripled in the 7th.
Currently Roper is batting .294 with 5 home runs and 15 RBIs.
