Mordor Conference Names Top Player

27-year-old Wong the Insane sent shock waves through Tolkien Baseball last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Mordor Conference Player of the Week Award.

A newcomer to the league, the Insane made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .346 average, 9 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBI.

Where the Isengard Raiders left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but the Insane certainly made his mark last week.

This year the Insane is hitting .251 with 9 home runs and 38 RBIs in 54 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .273 with 4 walks and 20 runs scored.
