On a Roll: Orcteeth Hits for Cycle

Tuesday, September 19th, 2028
Fral Orcteeth produced one of the rarest feats in baseball today when he hit for the cycle against the Dunharrow Devils in the Misty Mountain 8-0 win at Gap of Rohan Park at Caradhras.

Afterward, Orcteeth acknowledged that his accomplishment was special, but he was more interested in helping the Hops just win some ballgames. At the postgame press conference, he said, "Maybe one day I'll look back on this day with more meaning, but right now I just want to come out tomorrow and put some good swings on the ball, get a few hits and help my club win another game."

On his historic day, he went 4-5 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored -- and also got a spot in the league record books. Maybe one day way down the road he will get out the record book and reminisce about his extra special day in baseball.

Fral Orcteeth doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Mimosa Goodrich in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th.

This season Orcteeth is batting .268 with 129 hits and 13 home runs. He has scored 88 times and has 71 RBI.
