15-K Game for Royals Boroden

Thursday, June 14th, 2029
It was a very special game for Smilman Boroden today at Royals Stadium in Rivendell. He had the perfect delivery. The good fastball. The nasty curve. The batters mumbling and muttering when they swung and missed. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. In an unforgettable performance the 27-year-old Boroden fanned 15 strikeouts Devils and sparked the Rivendell Royals to a 9-1 victory over Dunharrow.

His catcher commented, "I don't think I have seen him throw better. His location and command were really something."

In addition to his 15 strikeouts, Johnson allowed 2 hits and 3 walks in a superlative outing.

His manager added, "It's a manager's day off when you get pitching like that."

The Dunharrow skipper had no comment that was printable in the newspaper.

To date this season, Boroden has a record of 4 wins and 4 losses and a 4.95 ERA. He has appeared in 14 games and struck out 76 in 80 innings.
