How Much Would You Pay?

Seriously, does anyone buy the Cafe Press stuff? I’m thinking of putting up some Solonor-emblazoned crap to get some spending money for my daughter to take on her trip next summer. I don’t want to pour a ton of time into it, if it only gets you about $1.50 a month. I’ll just wait and do it for the vanity of it, later.

Although, who could resist a “I Helped Pepperkat Go To Europe And All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt” shirt?

I’ve seen ’em everywhere, but I don’t believe I’ve ever actually seen anyone buy the merchandise. I suppose it depends on how cool the merchandise is, you know? If you decide to go for it, good luck! May The Spork be with you.

I did once, but not anymore. The merchandise is great, but it’s way too expensive to get it in Canada – US->CAN$ conversion, plus extra shipping, plus customs charges… we easily pay double or more the number at the bottom of the bill.

Of course no one buys the stuff, it’s a vanity thing. I did it because I really wanted a t-shirt with my logo on it and also thought I might buy a few things to give away as minor gifts. It only took one evening’s worth of messing around to do the whole thing.

So do it and stop grousing. And go buy one of my damn t-shirts, already!

I suspect the only people who buy the stuff are the folks who are putting them up. I mean, I’d love some Gamer’s Nook apparel. Who wouldn’t? 🙂

I damn sure want a Solonor t-shirt, when they’re available.

I bought a bunch of PVP stuff once. I bitched to Scott Kurtz about the shipping and he wrote me back. 😀

  7. Zuly says:

Never done it, but that’s because I have severe lack of disposable income. If I had the money, I’d be all over it.

My site has one, but for only two reasons 1) I wanted to buy some crap with my own logo on it because I could and 2) I had one regular visitor who wanted to buy some crap with my own logo on it. She’s a co-worker and loves my blog.

So, have I made any money on it? Not much, but then my blog isn’t all that popular and I did it mainly to please myself and the one person who actually wanted a Stupid Evil Bastard T-Shirt. Which reminds me, she’s promised to buy another one as soon as I put up a “Stupid Evil Bastard Groupie” shirt, so I need to do that. 🙂
