Isn’t it Spring Training time, yet?

I have several admissions.

  1. Despite being a New Englanduh, I am not and have never been a big Patriots fan. (I just ain’t into football that much to begin with.)
  2. I didn’t watch the Super Bowl. (I know. I know. It’s un-American, but I am a Commie bastard after all.)
Well, I tried not to watch it. In fact, we went out to dinner last night specifically to avoid it and wound up being seated in the bar area with the game on 2 TV’s.
  3. I bet on New York to win.
The most traitorous cut of all! In fact, I kinda thought they might win, but I really did it because I was behind in my office football pool. So, I figured I’d at least get some points by betting against the rest of the gang.

Anyway, if I were a Patriots fan, I can imagine that I’d be going through The Five Stages of Patriots Grief.

I think Scott was the only straight guy in America watching old movie musicals with his wife last night instead of the Super Bowl. One of the many reasons I married him.

One of the guys here at work heard on ESPN that some of the Pat’s hotel food was Saturday night “tainted” by an unknown substance. Guess that’s the only way possible to beat the PATs.

    I have nothing to say.

Good thing you’re not a Patriots fan, or I would have had to place you on my Dead To Me list! That article was hilarious.

We didn’t watch it either. I just don’t get football.
