Running in place is good for you

Depending on the source of advice, I have to write something–anything–every day for at least 21 to 30 days in order to establish the habit. So, here I am writing something.

Yep. This is me. Writing…

Oh, hey! We went to see Cloud Atlas this weekend. It was good. Long and confusing for much of it, but ultimately good.

*whistles*

Yeah, I think I understand now why this blog thing died.

Once a week — or month. Depends on: weather, health, errands, work, pets. Yeah, I’d say at least once a month should suffice. 🙂

Seriously, that’s all you had to say about the movie? The trailers do look confusing, so there’s that. But was it entertaining and something worth sitting through?

It was definitely entertaining. Each of the six stories makes a pretty good mini-movie, and each one is connected to the other (though we had to ponder for a while what it was between 1973 and 2012). But for the first hour or so, I was struggling hard to see any connection between them at all.

Like some good books, you can finally see the thematic connections between them all after you finish it.

I have no doubt that it will flop horrifically, because it’s definitely not full of ‘splosions, sex, and superheroes (though there is a smattering of all three in places).

It’s hard to keep it going. The blogging, I mean, not the ‘splosions, sex, and superheroes.
