Two strep tests, an IV, 1.5 liters of Saline, and 2 liters of ginger ale later...

Alright, so I should've posted something sooner but I went into another slump. Anyway, it hasn't been on my mind for the past few days.

On Sunday, I went to the mall with my mother to pick up a book for some studying for my CCNA. Getting this particular networking certification is very important to me, not because I plan to use it for the rest of my life, but because I've been studying for two years to get it and I want to be able to put CCNA after my name on business cards. Once I finally do get it, I plan to print out cards and spend some time in public places handing them out. Maybe I'll stop by the local Community College and encourage the 40 year old aspiring CCNAs.
"Hey, studying for your CCNA, huh?"
"Why, yes I am, little boy, how cute it is that you're inter-"
"Yeah...I've got it."
I spent the rest of Sunday reading until we went out to eat. That night I noticed that I had developed a bit of a sore throat.

Monday I woke up with a terrible headache, couldn't swallow, and could barely walk. Studying was out of the question.
My mother decided to take me to get a test for strep throat. That's when it all went horribly wrong. (Saying that it all went horribly wrong at that point may actually be the wrong choice of words since it already was horribly wrong, in my opinion. Though, I think it's better than saying "It all got horribly wronger")
The heat incited yet another of life's great pleasures: Vomiting without having had anything to eat or drink all day.
Anyway, we got to CentraCare and, after a few hours in the waiting room, we were able to see a doctor who's reaction was something like "DEAR GOD! GO TO THE HOSPITAL, BOY! YOU'RE SUPER-DEHYDRATED!"

So it was off to the hospital to wait.
I have yet to find a word to describe the waiting. It would have to be a hybrid of "pain", "discomfort", and "interminable"..."discominapainful" yeah, that's it. The waiting was discominapainful.

When the waiting was over I got a strep test...twice. (They lost the first one)
I got an IV...twice. (My right arm wasn't good enough apparently)
I fell asleep somewhere in the middle of my second bag of saline and woke up feeling like a rock. I could barely lift my legs, let alone sit up. Once home, I quickly fell asleep again.

I wonder if the school will still pay for my CCNA exam...

Thus ends the biggest whine in my history...good night.

No, I don't mean that they have horns

I'm sitting here in my room afraid to turn off the light. Y'see, it's mating time for the ants near my house. My room is the love shack.

It's like a horror movie. The room has clean white walls when I'm ready to go to bed, then I turn off the light and try to go to sleep...that's when I hear a slight buzz and go turn on the light to see what it was.....suddenly there are winged ants all over my room. To give you an idea of just how many, consider this, I can hear them walking.

That's when we spray my room with enough chemicals to kill a couple horses (if they'd fit in my room) and I go sleep on the couch.

Damn horny ants.

If you're reading this, you're probably sick of hearing about my stupid search for Magic cards...TOO BAD!

I found out that the ones I want are out of print.

Now on to more important stuff, like DUI presentations.

I'm sitting here in English waiting for a speaker who some call Officer Willis (some call him Williewinks though, I'm sure. I know I do) to get here so he can do a DUI presentation.

Whoops, here he is.

The quest continues...

Yu-Gi-Oh, ohhhh so much Yu-Gi-Oh...

Good news:
After searching an entire mall, Wal-Mart, and Eckerd I found black nailpolish.

Bad news:
The nailpolish will require multiple coats and I'm not that patient.

Bad news:
I didn't find the Magic cards I've been searching for

Good news:
If I ever need to have Yu-Gi-Oh cards (Why? Because I might want to pretend to be a little kid or a demon.) I'll be able to get them ANYWHERE.

Y'know, I'm not goth...really I'm not, and I have no interest in becoming that way, either. If I am goth, I'm a pretty bad one that carries around a little monkey and bounces around happily.

I think the real reason goth people act depressed is because they can't find their damn nailpolish anywhere!
It's having that effect on me...

everything is horrible...SATAN IS YOUR MASTER!

That's nothing compared to what the search for Magic cards is doing though...

Hmm, maybe I should buy some Yu-Gi-Oh cards...

...that part scares me a whole lot more.

I'm in English class right now.

Why am I wasting time by writing a blog entry when I should be concentrating on the class I have to pass in order to graduate, you ask?

Don't worry, I don't have anything to do at the moment.

Anyway, it just occurred to me that the final exam for a class I have to pass is based on one book that we never even finished reading...sad, ain't it?

Never think about how to spell ain't, just spell it the way everyone else does. I thought about it just now, and it took me about five minutes of wondering how many apostrophes there are supposed to be to recover from it.

"A is not?" What the hell is that?!

Wow, that just completely changed the point of this entry...
