Once you hit 35, it’s hard to say how much time you’ve got left in baseball. Betsie Sandyman has been fortunate as her numbers for the past week bear out. The 36-year-old second baseman, a favorite in the Lothlorien Lumberjacks clubhouse, hit .458 last week as she put up Player of the Week numbers.
Sandyman also put together 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs and 7 RBIs for the week.
For the season Sandyman is batting .324 with 72 hits and 16 home runs. She has scored 28 times and batted in 36.
