Disaster Win to Extend Series Lead to 2-0

A strong performance from pitcher Todo Gilmore was not enough for the Dunharrow Devils, who were stopped by the visiting Dagorlad Disaster in a 6-3 loss in Game 2 of the Two Towers Series today. The Disaster never truly figured out the right-handed Gilmore, who threw 6 innings allowing 6 runs to earn player of the game honors. Still, the Disaster now hold a 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.

Curt Dryadslicer aided the Dagorlad cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 4.

Dryadslicer attributed the win to “energy and focus on the part of everyone.”

Game 3 is set to be played Saturday at Dunharrow Field. The scheduled starters for the game are Joop Nasor for Dagorlad and Eva Chiselarm for Dunharrow.
