The Dunharrow Devils have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Weathertop Witch Kings, winning 3-2 at Dunharrow Field today. Devils right-hander Eva Chiselarm was named player of the game after she threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. The win cuts the deficit facing the Devils to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Two Towers Series.
Rinak Shewmaker aided the Dunharrow cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4 with a home run.
Witch Kings manager Gameodriel Anorfin did not take questions after the game, telling assembled reporters that he would hold a press conference “if and when we win the Return of the King Series.”
Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow at Dunharrow Field. Slated to start are Noilin Elväwen for Weathertop and Todo Gilmore for Dunharrow.
