Wyoming has fewer than a million people -- which means wide open spaces and no traffic jams, but also not a lot of culture. Wyoming makes up for that with the Tetons, blue ribbon trout fishing streams and most of Yellowstone National Park (Montana claims a small percentage).

John A. Campbell, first territorial governor, on December 10, signed the "Female Suffrage" bill giving Wyoming women the right to vote (in 1868)!

The tallest building in Wyoming is 6 stories tall! ... or at least it was a couple of years ago. My grandparents lived in Lander for years. My uncle Bill ran for the candidacy to be the next republican governer recently. He also wrote a book.
