Gandogast Fadrier was enshrined into the Tolkien Baseball Hall of Fame. One of the most fearsome hurlers to ever take the mound, Fadrier earned this coveted honor by dominating hitters with a 163-106 record over a 371-game career. In 2502 innings he fanned 2577 batters, walked 482 and compiled a fine 3.51 ERA. Fadrier retired at the age of 71.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My teammates did a lot for me over the course of my career and I wouldn&#8217;t be here without their help,&#8221; Fadrier said as he stood before the large crowd of fans and diamond legends. &#8220;It&#8217;s easy to rack up as many wins as I did when your teammates play such great defense and score as many runs as mine did. But in turn, when they weren&#8217;t having a great day, I knew I had to return the favor and that&#8217;s why we were all so successful.
