“It’s quite a thrill,” Bramble told the media afterward. “This is a top-notch league. A no-hitter against any team in the league is something special. I can’t believe I did it.”<\/p>\n
To get his name logged in the Mordor Conference records, he stopped Minas Morgul cold and hitless, surrendering no walks and fanning 9 of the 28 batters he faced.<\/p>\n
Dol Guldur manager Lerin Caverncutter was in a jovial mode after the game, kidding with reporters that Bramble “made managing easy today.”<\/p>\n
“I didn’t have hardly any decisions to make like I usually do,” he said. “I didn’t even have to come up with a pinch hitter.”<\/p>\n
