\nFor the Carrock Bears, it was a joyful time; for the Dol Guldur Dragons, it was gloom and doom.<\/p>\n

With a 6-5 win at Old League Park, Carrock closed out the championship 4-1 over Dol Guldur.<\/p>\n

The Bears have now won their 3rd league championship in franchise history. The streets around the Bears’ stadium were a mob scene, filling quickly with fans, while banners and flags were held high and waved proudly.<\/p>\n

“It’s unbelievable for us, our great fans, and all of Carrock,” said a smiling owner Erling Hardbottle. “The guys really put their heart and soul into this season and it paid off for them.”<\/p>\n

In a somewhat somber and dejected Dragons clubhouse, manager Vrsong the Drooler said his team “just didn’t get the job done.”<\/p>\n

“The Bears played as good as any team I’ve seen and deserve to be champions,” he said.<\/p>\n
