The Bounders were plenty happy to have wrapped up the series early and to have knocked out the Carrock Bears to advance to the Return of the King Series.<\/p>\n
Bywater won the final game by a 5-1 count at The Water Park and the series 4-1.<\/p>\n
Bounders third baseman Ferdinand *Puttifoot was named series MVP, as he hit .444 with a .545 on-base percentage. He added 5 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 9 runs.<\/p>\n
“It’s not going to be the last time Carrock makes it to the playoffs, so it’s sure a nice feeling to put them out this year,” *Puttifoot said. “We just need to keep this going and take it day by day.”<\/p>\n
The Bywater Bounders don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Dol Guldur Dragons – Dead Marshes Uruk-hai series. Dead Marshes leads the series 2 games to 1.
