The Ravenhill Darkwings picked up a win at Uruk-hai Field, taking down the Dead Marshes Uruk-hai, 3-2, in 11 innings. On the mound for Ravenhill was left-hander Kark Badgers. He played a central role in the triumph. The win belonged to Goodwill Hedgeworth in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Soseen Euthor took the loss for Dead Marshes. The Darkwings, at 42-44, sit in last place in the Mordor Conference Goblin Division.

Himmet Cholts came through with a big-time hit for Ravenhill. The third baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Darkwings manager Rark the Sly.
