The Bree Cheese tallied a win at Bree-Land Ballpark, throttling the Mirkwood Sylvan, 3-1. Starting pitcher Marçal Ivatt was a big reason for his team's success. The winning pitcher was Ivatt, now 10-5. He tossed 6 innings of 1-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6.

Rajkumar Ironsplitter helped out the Bree cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4.

"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Ivatt.

With the victory, the Cheese upped their record to 44-44.
