Rhun Tacks 5-1 Loss on Belegost
|
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Rhun fans at Wheat Kings Grounds.
The Rhun Wheat Kings locked up a win at Wheat Kings Grounds, knocking off the Belegost Destroyers, 5-1. On the mound for Rhun was right-hander Conrad Sackville. He played a major role in the triumph. In 7.1 innings, Sackville surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 4. He allowed no runs. Jhanandra Ni Tessine, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.
The Wheat Kings got a big at-bat from second baseman Mubrog Dryadslasher. For the game, Dryadslasher was 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Rhun a 2-0 lead.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Dryadslasher.
Rhun goes to 6-1.
