Lakers Deal Destroyers 5-1 Defeat
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Romenna Lakers and Belegost Destroyers.
Romenna turned a fine outing from starter Abdel-Alim Rolán into a victory over the Belegost Destroyers at Belegost Stadium. The final score was 5-1. Picking up his 1st save was 33-year old left-handed pitcher Neegar Gnollscarer.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Vigo Tussle? The Romenna catcher had a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Lakers on top, 1-0. For the game, Tussle had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
Said losing manager Nugrog Ettincrusher: "Obviously, we wished for a better outcome."
The win takes Romenna to 5-7.
