Tunnelmaker Excels, But Destroyers Win
Cirith Ninniach got a terrific game from left fielder Niggek Tunnelmaker. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Belegost, 5-4. Tunnelmaker was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Belegost is now 28-17.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Dugblug Greatchain came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Cirith Ninniach pitcher Huquethae Nund, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Belegost on top, 5-4.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Cirith Ninniach manager Sarkla Elradriend.
