Belegost Gets 9-6 Win Against Warriors
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Belegost fans at Belegost Stadium.

The Belegost Destroyers downed the Lond Daer Warriors, 9-6, at Belegost Stadium. Keun-ho Nye led the way, going 2-for-4 for Belegost. Belegost pitcher Tigblug Throatbelly got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Arsa Marie got the loss. Daol Jacq earned the save for Belegost, his 13th of the year.

Pil-joong Corcorane hit a 2-run home run off Arsa Marie in the bottom of the first, which put the Destroyers ahead, 2-1. In addition to the homer, Corcorane had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"This is a very good team," said Corcorane. "We have the chance to do something special."

The triumph puts Belegost at 38-23 for the season.
