The Angmar Red Dragons beat the Rhun Wheat Kings, 6-1, at Wheat Kings Grounds. Starting pitcher Smorg the Rough was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Ochyllyss Hyshaanth, credited with the save, is now 3 for 4 in save opportunities. The Red Dragons move to 42-48 with the win, while the Wheat Kings drop to 48-42.
Angmar used the hitting of Maeral Sowyn to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Red Dragons on top, 4-0. For the game, Sowyn had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
