Red Dragons Drop Blue Jays, 3-2
|
Angmar pitcher Gollauman Eroth had a large part in his team subduing the Nurn Blue Jays, 3-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Özkan Temir finished to wrap up his 18th save. The Red Dragons now have a record of 43-50.
Angmar took a 3-2 lead on Dejmina Vernet's 12th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Vernet hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Nurn pitcher AnlaShok Appleyard visibly frustrated.
Vernet called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
