Behind a fine performance from Tugbu the Squasher, the Old Forest Merry Fellows knocked off the Carrock Bears, 7-1. the Squasher was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Merry Fellows. The Bears fall to 5-7 and continue to sputter in the early going.

There was more than one reason the Merry Fellows beat the Bears, but the Squasher's big at-bat in the top of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 2-1 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.
