Down Goes Carrock, 7-3, to Lothlorien

The Lothlorien Lumberjacks and Carrock Bears completed their game despite the inclement weather.
Good production from right fielder Rili McAuselan helped the Lothlorien Lumberjacks topple the Carrock Bears, 7-3. McAuselan went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs for the Lumberjacks. Drubmag Hammerscarer finished the game for Lothlorien and earned his 3rd save.
With one out in the bottom of the fifth, Blurlug Bugsmasher had a chance to do some damage. Carrock was trailing 5-2, but had runners on 1st and 3rd. Bugsmasher came to the plate against Morelf Dree, and hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough to complete a Carrock comeback.
The first-place Lumberjacks, at 73-47, now lead their division by 6 games.
