The Dagorlad Disaster powered past the hometown Ravenhill Darkwings, 4-3, in the opener of the Hobbit Series at The Ballpark at Helms Deep. Dagorlad starting pitcher Hyeon-cheong Alejadre threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball, to lead the charge. The Disaster now lead the series 1-0.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Duk-yeo Limón? The Dagorlad third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Disaster on top, 4-0. For the game, Limón had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Dagorlad manager Ghudkuh Ogreprodder said his team played a "no nonsense" game.

Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday at Dagorlad Memorial Stadium.
