Lumberjacks Get 7-6 Win Versus Ravenhill
The Lothlorien Lumberjacks withstood an impressive performance by Ravenhill shortstop Krukguh Darkghost to defeat the Darkwings, 7-6, at The Ballpark at Helms Deep. Darkghost was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Tanseril Gildenguard was credited with the save for Lothlorien, his 5th of the season. The win gives Lothlorien a record of 11-2.

Lothlorien first baseman Elroborn Snowmouth contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 2nd hit of the season and put the Lumberjacks ahead, 4-3.

"We took home the win," said Snowmouth. "What's not to like?"
