The Bree Cheese did just enough to secure a victory over the Erebor Eagles, 5-4, in 12 innings at Bree-Land Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Balik Karsson. Bree reliever Zelphar Melruth picked up the win, upping his record to 7-4. Maura Buckland absorbed the loss. Erebor, at 74-60, has lost 4 straight.

The Cheese got a clutch hit from left fielder Semolina Wisebattler. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Cheese.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Wisebattler said in his postgame press conference.
