Bears Upend Sylvan, 4-0
|
Subkrut Shinsnapper, who is tied for 8th in the SC in quality starts with 16, was locked in. The left-hander led the Carrock Bears to a 4-0 win against the Mirkwood Sylvan at Woodland Field. Earning his 15th save of the year was Ikag Gnomehammer. With the win, the Bears have a record of 81-63.
Carrock used the hitting of Legeron Kidneycrusher to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put the Bears on top, 2-0. For the game, Kidneycrusher had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Carrock manager Tigia Eladriendel. "It's usually not just one thing."
