Kakalian Shines in 8-2 Weathertop Win
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Weathertop Witch Kings and Dagorlad Disaster came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The exploits of first baseman Teimuraz Kakalian, who finished 4th in the MC in RBI with 104 last year, helped the Weathertop Witch Kings defeat the Dagorlad Disaster, 8-2. Kakalian was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was Vevei Stonefart. He's now 14-1. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits for the Witch Kings.

With Weathertop leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Kakalian hit a forkball from Irene Black for a 2-run home run. It was his 41st home run of the season and put the Witch Kings ahead, 3-0.

"We did a lot of things right," said Kakalian.
