Kings Turn Back Dunharrow, 5-3
|
Numenor Kings starter Pippo McCrudden pitched well against the Dunharrow Devils at Capital One Stadium, leading his team to a win, 5-3. Agron Kingmaker got the save, his 33rd in 40 chances. The win puts Numenor at 84-68 this season.
Fomige Rubyeye had a big solo home run for the Kings in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Numenor leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from Nukag Kulyuk, who is tied for 7th in the MC with a 1.05 WHIP, and punished it. The result was his 14th home run of the season, which put the Kings on top, 2-0.
Numenor manager Vugnar Mithrilhammer praised his team's "energy."
