Archers Thwart Bears, 3-2

The Lake Town Archers faced a tough opponent in Carrock pitcher Sudeep Blunt, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Old League Park by a final score of 3-2. Blunt went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Isumbras Ramblebucket claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. His record stands at 4-0. Lake Town is now 72-83, while Carrock is 87-68.
Lake Town used a timely hit from Renar Thuvaradran to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Archers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.
After the game, Lake Town manager Born Hilldweller applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
